Today, Eastern Group is one of the leading industrial property developers providing custom-built factories in the southern region of West Malaysia and our vision is to diversify our business to include a wide array of industries within the next 5 years.

Director's Message

Dear Valued Customer,

Eastern Group’s journey began in1977 with the Group’s main business being industrial factory construction, build-to-suit programmes to sale and leaseback. In the year 2006, the Group entered a joint venture with one of China’s most upstream solar cell manufacturing company in Johor Bahru (Malaysia). With this joint venture partnership, Eastern Group’s renewable energy (RE) solar business subsequently builds a bigger picture. Since then as of 2009, our experienced skill set has empowered us to evolve and expand the business to include whole solar silicon supply chain that specializes comprehensive services in dealing with all kinds of refurbished materials.

For the benefit of future generations to come, Eastern Group pledges to be ecofriendly and to go green with solar energy. Solar energy not only provides clean and pure energy which also reduces greenhouse gas emissions, but also helps combat our collective dependence on fossil fuels. With the collaboration of Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) mechanism, Factory Roof Space, Product Distributor and System Integrator, Eastern Group conquered one of the most renowned rooftop projects in Southern Malaysia in 2011.

Introduced in Malaysia since 2010, the FiT mechanism is a project that will greatly benefit both businesses as well as individuals by enabling them to produce their own renewable energy. The Group’s solar leasing financial model is designed to increase investments in renewable energy sources as well as encourage the recruit of more strategic partners to participate in the Renewable Energy sector.
